The Speck&Tech Retreat is THE event you can't miss! On October 12-14, our Speckers will reunite to strengthen their relationships, learn from each other, have fun, discuss together trending hot topics and spend an unforgettable weekend with old and new friends.
The programme covers a multitude of distinct areas, from technical and stimulating talks to enriching workshops, from exciting outdoor sports in the Alps to long relaxing hours in SPA and sauna, from gamified visits of top tech companies to tasty gourmet dinners.
The Alpholiday Hotel, located between the Adamello and Stelvio parks, offers panoramic views of the Brenta Dolomites. It features 3 pools, a wellness centre with sauna, Turkish bath, jacuzzi, gym and beauty treatments. The restaurant serves both Trentino and classic Italian gourmet cuisine.

- Who can attend the event and what are the selection criteria?
Everyone is welcome! For legal and liability reasons, you must be at least 18 years old. As there are limited spots, we will ask you to write a brief motivation and we reserve the right to approve each participant. We recommend that you register as soon as possible: approved participants will be granted a spot based on the order of requests.
- Is there a discount for students?
To encourage younger Speckers to participate, we are offering a limited number of student tickets at a reduced price of 100€. You have to be currently enrolled to a university to qualify for the discounted ticket (proof will be required). EDIT: Discounted tickets are sold out.
- What is required in order to participate?
You are requested to complete the registration form of the Eventbrite, and pay a deposit corresponding to the price of the selected ticket.
- Why do I have to pay a deposit?
We ask you for a deposit in order to confirm your participation in the event, so we can fully rely on your registration, plan accordingly and give you the best event experience ever.
- What happens to my deposit after the event?
The deposit will be fully reimbursed after you show up at the event. If you miss the event, you will lose your deposit. You will pay you participation fee directly to the hotel.
- What happens if I cannot attend the event after being accepted?
You can cancel your registration until 30 days prior to the event start (i.e. September 12), and you will immediately get the entire deposit back. Any cancellation after the deadline for reasons of force majeure will be evaluated on a case by case basis.
- What if I am not one of the first 50 successful applicants?
Given the limited spots available, we cannot guarantee the participation of each member. In case all tickets are sold out, a waiting list will be set up. If a ticket becomes available, you will be contacted automatically with further instructions on how to get it.
- Which outdoor sports may I attend on Sunday? Do I have to attend one?
Of course not, you may also simply not attend any and just spend the day chilling outside or at the SPA. However, we have struck a deal for 20% OFF on various Rafting Center activities. Let us know on the Eventbrite which ones you would be most interested in.
- What should I bring?
Regardless of the outdoor sports you will choose for Saturday afternoon, we suggest you bring a swimsuit, and comfortable and warm clothes. All events are casual.
- When do applications close?
Applications close on September 22 (the organizing team reserves the right to extend this deadline).
